Rainier 2 Ruston

My Ad class was required to create an advertisement for this event that is called Rainier 2 Ruston. I had never heard of it before but I imediately got excited when I realized it was a fun, outdoor activity.

Basically, it is a relay that takes place from...that's right, you guessed it, Rainier to Ruston way. It is for walkers and runners alike and the course is about 27 miles in length. I am writing this because I am on the verge of signing up. However-- I need a team! So. If you are at all interested to register with me.. you should definitely let me know! The walking relay allows people to walk each leg of the race in pairs. For example, if it was a team of six, there would be 3 pairs, each covering 2 legs. The walking relay only covers the first 6 legs which take you from Rainier to Orting** I'm not positive on how long each leg is, I have to do some more research on that. I think it would be a really fun way to get involved and help better our environment. The cost for registration is $25, which goes towards getting a paved trail all the way from Rainier to Ruston. Wouldn't that be awesome?? I think so. The race is on June 5th, aka National Trails Day. Clever huh?
